Norfolk Sister City Association celebrated the kickoff of its annual meeting with an unveiling ceremony of our long-awaited signpost. Thank you, Mayor Alexander, for assisting in this exciting event. Thank you, Gary Bonnewell, our outgoing Board President, whose dedication and focus saw this project to completion.
Following the unveiling and dedication, we adjourned next door to the Blue Moon Taphouse where new Board members were voted in, with terms beginning January 1, 2022. Welcome Carie Hatfield; Alex Pincus and Ian Williams.
We celebrated the service of outgoing Board members Cassandra Newby-Alexander, Anupama Keats, and Sarah Peoples Perry.
