One hundred forty-eight NSCA members and their guests attending the 35th International Luncheon on January 29th. The 2012 Board of Directors were elected and Officers announced. The silent auction to benefit NSCA Youth Programs raised $3,000! Thank you to those who contributed and those who bid on the auction items. Mr. Jerry Bridges, Executive Director of The Port of Virginia, shared with attendees the impact of the Port of VA both locally and internationally. Mr. Bridges recogonized the contribituions that NSCA makes as “ambassadors” of Norfolk and was pleased to announce a partnership between The Port of VA and NSCA. He and Janis Weisberg, NSCA President, signed a Memorandum of Agreement committing The Port of Virginia and Norfolk Sister City Assocation as partners, supporting each other to achieve their missions in the global world and for Norfolk, VA.
